Overview

Created in 1932, Lake Hamilton was a product of Arkansas Power and Light Company's electricity generating dam on the Ouachita River. The 7,200-acre reservoir is one of Arkansas's most popular recreational lakes and residential areas with sprinklings of condominiums, resorts, motels, restaurants, private homes, and cottages lining its coast.
