Campground in Washington
Bush Pioneer County Park Campground south of South Bend Washington provides primitive tent and RV camping on a bluff overlooking tidal marsh flats. Managed by the local Native American tribe, the location is home to their headquarters, the campground is available on a first come first served basis and is reportedly free. 10 sites available there are trails down to the ocean side. Out of the way and little known this is a unique spot to camp along US 101. Call ahead to make sure they are open during shoulder seasons.
