There are four "Century Villages" in South Florida's Miami metropolitan area, built by the same developer: West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, and Pembroke Pines. This article deals only with the West Palm Beach Century Village, the only one formerly designated a census-designated place (CDP) and is now an unincorporated place. All of them are gated retirement communities, whose residents must be 55 or over.
